The Beauty Scenario Tag

So I was tagged by my lovely cousin, Dani, also known as the fabulous KABOOM Cosmetics to do the beauty scenario tag! I think beauty tags are especially fun as you really get to pick and choose your favourite products, and it's fun to see other bloggers beauty favs! I hope you enjoy reading my tag answers, and don't forget to try out this tag too!

 

You have to get rid of all your foundations and only keep one high end and one drugstore, which do you keep?

 

 

Well, seeing as I only own one high end foundation it would have to be the MAC Studio Fix foundation ( NC15 ). For my drugstore however, I would have to pick the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation ( Fair Ivory ). This is my current favourite foundation as I just love the medium-high coverage, long lasting power and just about everything else!

 

 

You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth. 

Do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?

 

Ooh a tricky one! If I didn't tell her id feel really bad because lets face it, nobody likes walking around not knowing they have abit of spinach in their teeth and the same goes with lipstick! I think she would appreciate it, and it would also show that your not afraid to be truthful even in an awkward situation which may come in handy for the interview!

 

You're not feeling yourself and you need a pick me up lipstick, which one do you go for?

 

I would have to say the L'Oreal Intense lipstick in shade 371, Pink Passion. It's just the most gorgeous coral which instantly makes me feel happy and confident whenever I wear it! 

 

 

 

You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and makeup differently?

 

Well seeing as I am still a teenager I guess I would go back and change when I first got into makeup which was about age 13/14! I used to back-comb my hair every morning which I regret ever so much now! Not only did I look like a cave woman, but my hair is dry and broken in areas now! As for makeup, I definitely wouldn't have worn a foundation four shades too dark for me!

 

You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder length pixie lott hair cut but they hear you wrong and give you a pixie hair cut. Do you a) smile, say thank you, leave, call your mum and cry hysterically b) cry in the chair and things get awkward or c) complain to the manager and demand a refund.

 

I don't think I would ever get my hair cut as I love my long hair! But for the purpose of this question I think id complain to the manager and demand a refund. A hairdresser should listen carefully and make sure to clearly confirm what you asked for after you have told them. I think id notice if they were cutting too much off in the process, but if it were their fault for not listening properly then I think a refund is the least they can do!

 

Your friend surprises you with a 4 day city break and you have 1 hour to pack. 

Which 'do it all' palette do you pack in your makeup bag?

 

The Chi Chi Glamorous Classics palette would be my 'do it all' palette! I have to say I don't own many palettes but the Chi Chi classics is the best one that I own thus far! It has 12 gorgeous shades which include matte's and shimmer's. It has some lovely neutrals with a few glamorous shades too!   

 

 

 

 

 

Your house has been robbed, don't worry everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What's the product you really hope is safe?

 

Id have to say my MAC Studio Fix powder because its the ultimate shine robber! (Joke intended! Hehe) I Couldn't live without the stuff and its a pricey little bugger! Id also have to pick my Benefit Hoola bronzer because its such a big part of my daily makeup routine!

 

 

 

 

 

 Your friend borrows your makeup and returns it in awful condition. Do you a) just pretend you haven't noticed b) ask them to repurchase it or c) secretly do the same to something of theirs

 

Sharing makeup? erm..no thanks! haha! Well id definitely ask them politely to repurchase it, even if it wasn't an expensive item, if it wasn't returned in its original condition then It should be replaced. I couldn't stand having one of my higher end products destroyed and then just passing it off as okay because they are a friend!
